Who We Are?
Sisters on Samui (SOS) is a not-for-profit organisation that brings together the women who live on the island. We aim to support those in need through outreach, fundraising and events.
Since 1997, we have contributed to the Samui community including projects with the Samui Hospital, the Samui Prison and Samui Rescue. In 2020 we are providing much needed support to displaced workers and their families in Koh Samui who are suffering due to the sharp decline in international tourist arrivals due to COVID-19.
Our monthly luncheons are a great way to get to know other ladies on the island, and also visit many of the wonderful restaurants and resorts on the island of Koh Samui. Plus each time you join us for lunch, we make a contribution to our charitable causes.
How We Are Helping Out?
Our 4 key projects are designed to help the local community on Koh Samui. Take a look at our initiatives below, and support us in any way you can.
Helping Samui Together
We’re collecting donations to help thousands of families who have lost their livelihoods due to the current COVID-19 pandemic. Help us distribute food parcels, hygiene products, baby supplies and medications to those who need them the most. The Hotel and Resort staff, all the barmen, those who cook our favourite Thai dishes, or show us around this beautiful island, and always welcome us with a ‘Thai smile’.
They really need our help now.
